Mobile industry giants ( Microsoft, HTC, Nokia and Sony Ericsson ) filed a complaint this week in the office of trademarks EU’s attempts to Apple to make the expression “App Store” and “Appstore” their registered trademarks. Explained by the complaint that, according to company data, names must be accessible to everyone, because they are too general – it is also absurd, as recorded, for example, the expression “toy store” or “book store” . These proceedings are already the first year – from 2008, Microsoft is suing Apple because of the term “App Store “. On top of that company from Cupertino, for its part, sued Amazon in March this year for the use of the same term.
